Minex, organisers of countrywide exhibitions for small scale miners have revealed that this year’s edition will see miners accessing new technologically advanced machinery at the Shamva expo to be held on the 26th of March 2020.
The event to be held at the Shamva Country Club will give stakeholders and small scale miners in the province a chance to network and strengthen linkages for maximising output.
Speaking to Great Dyke News 24, Shamva Miners Association Chairperson Simbarashe Mpaya said Minex Shamva Expo will be beneficial to miners as it will give them access to new equipment and mining supplies.
“The miners are going to benefit from the minex expo for it is a platform for them to meet and discuss the problems they face.
“Miners also get a chance to discuss with financiers and also to seal deals through the Minex Event.
“The miners will be able to buy new advanced equipment from the exhibitors at the expo. ‘This will also enable miners to access new supplies and to purchase technologically advanced machinery, ” said Mpaya.
He added that, “The police were informed and have agreed to be at the exhibition for security and order at the event.”
Minex is a physical and virtual information platform designed to ensure that the mining value chain is brought together for sustainable economic growth.
Minex connects small the scale miner with leading stakeholders in the mining sector that include suppliers, buyers, financial institutions, policy makers and the community.
