Minex, organisers of countrywide exhibitions and conferences for small scale miners have revealed that this year promises to be an exciting one with a number of expos lined up across the country.
According to Minex Marketing Executive, Kudzai Muranda, the first exhibition will be in Zvishavane with miners and suppliers expected to discuss issues affecting the mining sector and map a way forward to the challenges.
“The last two years have seen the information gap between miners, policy makers, regulatory authorities, suppliers and other stakeholders widening as we have only managed to organise one event due to covid-19.
“After the relaxation of covid-19 regulations last year, we have responded to the call for more expos by miners and suppliers through organising four exhibitions in premier mining areas in 2022.
“We will kick off our programmes with the Mberengwa- Zvishavane Minex set for 7 April, followed by the Kadoma Minex on 14 July, with the Gwanda Minex being slated for 22 September. The final event of the year will be the Bindura Minex to be held on 24 November,” she said.
Muranda added that Minex is looking forward to fruitful engagements with miners.
